With over 20 years as a qualified and Registered Social Worker in England and Wales, I bring a neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed approach to my work, born from a professional experience and a lifetime of living as a neurodivergent person.
Alongside a Masters degree in Critical Autism Studies, I have training and education in low-demand approaches, communication adaptations, and neurodiversity coaching; my practice remains informed by current research, particularly projects led by members of the Autistic community.
Outside of work, I’m a passionate advocate for neurodivergent friends and family members, maintain an allotment, am an occasional runner, enjoy the outdoors, tend to my (many) houseplants, and walk my dog.
My journey, both professional and personal, fuels my dedication to creating inclusive, compassionate and rights-based care for neurodivergent and particularly Autistic and ADHD people.
